Hi Richard,

Thanks a lot for this post. It's been great to fully analyzed the big run SMCI had. I didn't participate on it unfortunately, but it's brilliant to go through it for next time we find another big run. Going to go through the 20 Case Studies of Recent Market Leaders now, but thanks for the outstanding content you provide us.

Hello Richard, if bought at the next opening after you published on Feb 18, at 104,55 and was lucky enough to sell (probably with a stop order near the low of the day) on March 13, you’d have won 8$ a share (less than 8%). Not really a bargain ! What was wrong (if any) ? Pierre

Richard, I wish I had a way to look back at options prices and volumes on SMCI to see if that action would have provided any clues about the stock moves. will that be possible when Deepvue gets into options?

Richard, Thank you so much for the very detailed analysis. I finally got into it on the 12th, 13th and 14th and then on the 15th raised my stops from 800 to 850 to 900 and finally 950. I sold 1/3 just before the close at 1003 and then watched it move on up to 1077 after hours - something I could do thanks to Deepvue. The next morning I got stopped out just below my 950 stop. The real lesson here for me was that I've been watching this thing all year and after its major drop earlier in the year I was reluctant to enter when it got back in the $400 range for fear it would simply drop again. You are gradually teaching me how important it is to watch every little twitch for meaning. Thanks again.

Hi Jere great trade! While we can analyze every bar the most important thing is always the trend and longer term momentum. Nice Sells!

I agree with this “after the fact/move” retrospective analysis of SMCI parabolic move but how many did see it coming? Trading is first and foremost anticipatory and requires positions risk taking and management. Structural monthly/weekly price analysis combined with Elliott Wave framework reading expertise has allowed me to be early on that stock using call options in 2023 and 2024…Multi time frame structural price analysis limited to a few stocks - because of time constraints - is the only way to hop onto the gravy train early…
