Situational Awareness

Short term: Down (below a declining 5 SMA)

Intermediate Term: Down (below a declining 21ema)

Mid Term: Down (below a declining 50sma)

Long-term: Down (Below a declining 200 sma)

Before going through this list keep in mind that the market trend is negative. If you have a longer-term timeframe, cash is likely the highest probability play. This list can be used as a gauge of market health. Many of this could also be short candidates if we continue lower

Watchlist Charts from @MarketSmith

FSLR one of the strongest stocks, however if it loses the 21 ema it is likely to go to the 50

VRTX a nice liquid Biotech

RYTM can yield powerful quick moves, watch out if it loses thursday’s low

ENPH right at the base lows and just under the 50 day

NBIX look at that RS line

REGN consolidating after the earnings gap

PRTA powerful gap up, needs a consolidation

BTU back above the 50 day

DEN great move on volume but needs a short term contraction

BSM Low float name
